چکیده

Abstract Applications running in a large and complex manycore system can significantly benefit from adopting the dataflow model of computation. In execution environment, thread run only if all its required inputs are available. While potential benefits large, it is not trivial to improve resource utilization energy efficiency by focusing on models (i.e., ways specifying how threads adhering computation execute given compute/communication architecture). This paper proposes implements hardware-software co-design-based management framework. It works at Network-on-Chip (NoC) level consists three stages. The first stage focuses fast effective distribution policy. next an approach that adds reconfigurability 2D mesh NoC via customized instructions manage distribution. Finally, ring-based hybrid proposed for better scalability higher performance. work be considered primary reference framework which extensions carried out.

A Model-Driven Framework for Hardware-Software Co-design of Dataflow

Hardware-software (HW-SW) co-design allows to meet systemlevel objectives by exploiting the synergy of hardware and software. Current tools and approaches for HW-SW co-design face difficulties coping with the increasing complexity of modern-day application due to, e.g., concurrency and energy constraints. Therefore, an automated modeling approach is needed which satisfies modularity, extensibil...

A Novel Hardware/Software Co-Design Framework

A novel hardware/software co-design framework (CoDe-X) is presented in this paper, where an Xputer is used as universal accelerator based on a reconfigurable datapath hardware. CoDe-X accepts C-programs and carries out both, the profiling-driven host/accelerator partitioning for performance optimization, and the resource-driven sequential/structural partitioning of the accelerator source code t...

A Compiler-based Framework for Automatic Extraction of Software Models for Exascale Hardware/Software Co-Design

The utilization of large-scale parallel event simulators such as SST/macro requires that skeleton models of underlying software systems and architectures be created. Implementing such models by abstracting the designs of large-scale parallel applications requires a substantial amount of manual effort and introduces human errors. We outline an approach for automatic extraction of SST/macro skele...

A Compositional Framework for Hardware/Software Co-Design

We describe a compositional framework, together with its supporting toolset, for hardware/software co-design. Our framework is an integration of a formal approach within a traditional design flow. The formal approach is based on Interval Temporal Logic and its executable subset, Tempura. Refinement is the key element in our framework because it will derive from a single formal specification of ...
